How To Dress Well - a.k.a. Tom Krell - has released a second track from his forthcoming album Care - the jubilant, joyous 'What's Up', produced by CFCF (Mike Silver) and available to hear today HERE.

Says Krell on 'What's Up', "Recently I've been feeling like our artistic culture hyper-invests in seriousness and leaves all pleasure and fun to be taken care of by basically banal forms of pop--- and those don't really yield pleasure and fun in any deep way. For me, I don't think everything needs to be serious to be profound. With "What's Up", I wanted to just dig into the idea that fun and pleasure can be profound, or just be fun and pleasure, and that can be profound in its own way."

How To Dress Well will release Care on September 23, 2016 via Weird World / Domino Record Co. Written by Krell, mixed by Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, fun.), and featuring co-production from Krell alongside Jack AntonoffDre SkullCFCF,and Kara-Lis CoverdaleCare is a sensual, dazzling alt-pop tour de force.

On 'Lost Youth / Lost You':

"How To Dress Well's new song "Lost Youth / Lost You" is a glistening pop artifact about mysteries of the heart." - FADER

"The song is a big, shimmery breakup song with a guitar solo that seems to bubble up out of the despair." - Stereogum

"Tom Krell - a.k.a. How to Dress Well - understands what so few of the alt-R&B set would even bother to consider: If you're going to try to write Prince-worthy arena-pop ballads, eventually you have to pair them with Prince-worthy arena-pop guitar licks."SPIN

"We've missed the angelic voice that belongs to Tom Krell. At last, he has returned and will be gracing our ears with Care" - NYLON

"["Lost Youth / Lost You"] carries an everlasting message about love and blurring gender lines." - Complex

Care is the next step in the evolution of Krell's sound, which began with his first critically-lauded album, Love Remains, in 2010 and continued up through his widely acclaimed previous album, What Is This Heart?, released in 2014.  In six quick years,Krell has deftly moved from hazy, bedroom R&B to full-blown alt-pop gems, projecting more clarity and depth than ever before.  Care is an intimate album that goes big, filled with stadium-sized choruses, rollicking guitar solos, vocal tenderness, and Celine Dion-inspired melodies.  This is a record that makes us want to know each other clearer, and ultimately, to allow ourselves to feel joy.

Care will be available on standard CD, standard 2xLP, digitally and a limited deluxe edition 2xLP. The limited deluxe edition LP includes the album on colored marble double vinyl and a 16 page 12"x12" booklet, and can be exclusively pre-ordered from the How To Dress Well store. All pre-orders include an instant download of "Lost Youth / Lost You."
